The History

Launching the Machynlleth Comedy Festival in 2010 is probably what Little Wander is most known for, and the flagship event is still firmly at the heart of what the organisation delivers.

Mach grew from a collection of 30 shows across 4 venues to one of the most loved events in the UK comedy calendar. It now boasts a weekend schedule of over 200 comedy, theatre and family shows from Friday to Sunday in 20 venues from 30 to 500 capacity and over 20,000 tickets sold to an audience drawn in from all corners of the UK.

In 2018, the company launched a sister festival to Machynlleth in Aberystwyth, and we have been proudly curating and managing the comedy stage at the award-winning Green Man Festival since 2008.
