Website Accessibility with Assist Me

With over half of the population wanting specialised and/or personalised accessibility online, we want to ensure all our audiences and website users have the best experience when using our site.

‍We have teamed up with CityMaaS to help improve the usability and accessibility of our website.

Assist Me by CityMaaS uses a functional toolbar so you can reconfigure the website for visual, physical, hearing or cognitive needs.

Induction Loops

We provide induction loops at our festivals. If you would like to use one then please contact Steve with the show you are attending so we can ensure this is set up accessibility@littlewander.co.uk
For our other live events, please contact the venue directly about their induction loop.

Live Captioning

For a current list of shows which have live open captioning, please visit our What's On page here:

Accessible events

We are always working with venues to provide open captioning at more shows; if you would benefit from this service at a show near you, please contact us accessibility@littlewander.co.uk and we will do our best to implement this for future shows in your area.

Transcripts for our podcasts can be accessed via the platforms they are housed on.

Accessibility Questions

Why don't all of your shows provide open captioning?

We hope this will be the case one day, but currently there are financial barriers which can make this prohibitive especially if the venue is unable to share the cost. We are exploring funding options to allow us to do more.

I need a specific adjustment in order to see the show, who should I speak to?

If you require physical assistance or facilities in the venue then you are best contacting them directly as they will have the most up to date information on maintenance of these services. If your query is about the content of the show, we try to outline any trigger warnings in the show blurb, but please get in touch on accessibility@littlewander.co.uk if you need more information.

Is there disabled parking at the venue?

Please contact the venue as they will have the most up to date information on this.

I would like to speak to you about how you can improve your accessibility provision.

Please get in touch on accessibility@littlewander.co.uk and we will do whatever we can to implement these changes.
